Applicable principles

Material errors are corrected when there is clearer evidence, including broken links, user names, licence statements, withdrawal clauses and means of payment; error is not replaced by general marketing; information, verification status and history are modified together; if a changing allegation cannot be substantiated, it is deleted or described as unrealized instead of being kept in tactical terms.

• Priority for errors that may affect a financial or legal decision.
• Repeat pages are merged and their old addresses are turned into the basic page.
• Removal track record is maintained to prevent loss of old bonds.
• A page of indexing can be withdrawn during re-checking.
• The review date is not changed simply for technical reconstruction.

What that means to readers.

If the information is not available, we will not replace it with an estimate, and if a fact that affects the decision changes, the text, status and history must be updated or the page should be withdrawn from indexing until it is reviewed.
